EPA to Hold Hearings Regarding Proposed Air Quality Rules For The Oil And Natural Gas Industry

On July 28, 2011, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed new rules to control air emissions from oil and natural gas related operations. EPA published the proposed rules on August 23, 2011 in the Federal Register. It will hold public hearings on September 27 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; on September 28 in Denver, Colorado; and on September 29 in Arlington, Texas. In addition to the public hearings, EPA is also accepting written comments on or before October 24, 2011.
