Managing Partner

Corredor-HardestyDan Corredor is the Managing Partner in the Houston practice of Hardesty, LLC and a member of the firm’s executive committee.  Prior to joining Hardesty, LLC Dan was promoted from CFO to President & CEO for a $200 million regulated water utility and a $100 million chemical company between 2005 and 2012.   The complexities related to these companies included restructuring corporate debt, shutting down non profitable divisions, restructuring the accounting and finance departments, ERP implementations and divestitures.  Prior to joining the chemical company he formed his own consulting company providing Interim-CFO services from 2002-2005.  Previously, he held the role of CFO and General Manager as an expat in Mexico for Azurix Corp. a multi-billion dollar water company.  As the CFO in Mexico he was responsible for integrating a new acquisition to the publicly traded parent company in the U.S.  In addition he was responsible for the management of tens of millions of dollars of capital improvements.   After the General Manager for the same organization resigned, Dan assumed the position of Interim-General Manager and had over 1,000 employees that reported to him.  Responsibilities also included managing the relationship with the Regulator and the local truckers union. As Controller for Latin America for EVI Oil Tools (Weatherford) a multi-billion dollar company, Dan was responsible for integrating numerous acquisitions in Latin America to the publicly traded parent company and all financial reporting for 7 controllers in different countries.  This included implementation of internal controls and change management.   He held similar positions with Sperry Sun Drilling Services in the early 90’s before joining EVI.  Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston with a major in Accounting and Finance.  Dan is also a Certified Public Accountant.
