Pete Lusenhop

Pete is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group.  His oil and gas litigation practice focuses on a broad range of issues affecting both operators and landowners, including Ohio’s Dormant Mineral Act, leasing disputes, production and marketing matters and royalty claims, and competing mineral interests, such as conflicts between oil and gas and coal interests.

Pete also has a significant health care litigation practice, with experience in the areas of long-term care, behavioral health, licensure, regulatory challenges, including CON hearings, as well as health care contracting and billing controversies across all major payor sources.

Pete received his J.D. with honors from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and his B.S. cum laude from Miami University.

Pete is a member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association.  He is a graduate of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Short Course on Oil and Gas Law.  He is also a regular presenter on issues affecting litigation practice in Ohio.
